Race recap.

i dont feel like spell checking today. so there. MHS cyclocross. great race. My first official elite race in Cross, and i didnt get it handed to me the way i had i anticipated. Super muddy. cold. windy. Rainy. Basically my perfect racing conditions. Help my positio for the majority of the race. stayed steady on lap times. And beat Noah Taylor ( cross that of the " things to do before I die" list). The best part of the race tho...?.. Being less than 30 min from my house, and being Abel to get home and shower before the mud dryed.. I big deal. Trust me. Jamestown RR. Superb. Weather was the same as the day before. And this time we where right on the ocean. So times the wind by 10. My theory for these wet and windy races ( aka., very dangerous races because of the likelihood of a crash caused by so many people riding in a tight group.).. Is this: Off the Front or Off the Back. Meaning eater get off in a break with a few guys. Or sit up and live to fight another day. ( any guesses on how many times ive lived to fight another day?. you said never. Your right).. So me and 2 other guys got away with just under 20 miles remaining. We where Abel to put some good time on the peloton, and held it to the end. I had nothing in the sprint. And Danny "Stonehead/Estonia/drafts the team car" Estvezz took the win. Peter Salon second. me... 3. ( In my credit.. i was the first rider across the line with English as a first language* : ) despite the feeling like I got hit by a truch afterwards.. there was a good purse. and so at least i can justify my feeling horrible all day* a few pics from today.
