Ever feel like your just sitting there, waiting for a glacier to pass over? Sounds like N.C. has gone ok as of today. not a big surprise with the pro winners. JHK rode away like a WC podium-man, and Shonny stayed strong to take the women. Big deal podium for Nick Wait taking a 5th in the XC! tells you a lot about what kind of course it must have been for a pure climber/ great east coast decender to do that well. in other news, looks like Travis Livermon ate the junior field for lunch. Eathan took a very deserving 5th to lead all the New England boys. Tim beat 10 guys in his first national Semi Pro race. Also, it looks like Sager got sent to the ground trying to show off for a bunch of Junior Xers. the way i hear it, he finaly made it around one of the juniors, got caught up between some trees, and ate some dirt the old fashon way. face first. sorry to hear he had to DNF tho. there arn't an abundance of these sub 10,000,000 ft. races out there for him to show off his lungs at. Hopfully the Mt. Snow Show will prove different. this is tiring. i should go watch some more Myth Busters.
