Ran Skyline today. Well, as much as you can can run up and down some of those peaks. but everything runnable, was ran. and it felt good. in that, this hurts so bad, way. its hard to run, north to south, because you start up Big Blue. ( 600 ft. of steep vertical ) not much time for a warm up . i don't know why, but i love the looks of " that kid is crazy" i get evrytime i pass a group out on the trail. it always makes me run that much faster. that much further. i finished the run at Houtens Pond were i had dad come pick me up.. while i was waiting. i descended to the age of 10, and decided i would attemp to climb a tree.. and not just climb A tree, but climb one, and cross over to another, and down a different tree. i walked away, scraped and scrathed, and successfull. it was a good feeling. it had been a while since i felt so childish in public. --CM ps. When you have once seen the glow of happiness on the face of a beloved person, you know that a man can have no vocation but to awaken that light on the faces surrounding him. In the depth of winter, I finally learned that within me there lay an invincible summer. --Albert Camus (1913-1960)

I beg to differ; tree climbing is not just for ten year-olds. In fact, I believe there has been some discussion as to making it an olympic sport.
