Can't you see that it's just raining

There aint no need to go outside. But, in staying true to my fashion, or lack there of, I went out anyway. Rainy rides during cross season is more so the status quo than any other conditions mother nature might choose to scatter us with throughout the fall here in the North East. So, as my 5th grade self would say, it was no biggie. (click to enlarge.) I gave sitting around the house some serious thought this morning. Everything was warm, the internet was running fast, and I still haven't read the new Velo News.My big black chair looked awful comfy from the outside looking in, but it's hard to truly enjoy its comfort when your legs are cramping from exercise withdrawal symptoms. In the end, I cowboyed up and just put on a rain coat. The ride went fine, and it only rained hard enough to force me into doing hill reps in a parking garage for thirty minutes or so. All in all I'm really happy with the way my form is coming together for cross. I hope it is in fact new form building rather than my previous form dwindling. I guess we'll see come November. The ride didn't quite do it in satisfying my cravings, so I hit up a favorite trail for a quick jog. Now, if you'd excuse me, there are many bikes to be built.
