back in
business baby. The cobwebs have been cleared and intensity is now
common place in the weekly events. Wells was good for a
quick effort. everyone was antsy and going at it from the gun but couldn't walk the walk and keep anything away. finally the right group got away and we held on for a long while but
eventually the roadie mentality struck and people just got selfish at the finish. I've never been so pleased to not be able to sprint. maybe I'm finally converting some of those fast
twichers.

The white
bootys and carbon goodies were out in mass.
After all, who would dare race their training wheels at a training race? Not these guys. What
good is a chain saw in a knife fight if you don't have the guns to back it up. you know?

There was still a ways to ride after this. Ugh.

That's right: flip flops without socks. It's that time of the year; the m
ercury is on the rise.

...just in time, too.
