Contador finally made up for all the early season bad luck he's been stuck with and took out the overall at P-N! I was convinced he was
destined to come up short after missing that split on stage 3 but who's to say what's impossible, right? Couldn't have planned a better end to an already great weekend. It's been a while so here's whats been going down. Hit the access climb at the Hilly Blues Wednesday with Chris
Hong for the first workout on the new mountain bike. It was a new PR average for more than 5 reps: 8 in 42:07. Good sings for a day well below threshold. Backed that up with another day on the
MTB with road slicks for a brisk four hours tempo on Thursday. The new IF is riding really great so far. Feather light and super stiff. I'll take a mulligan on Friday. I've had better. The weekend brought canceled races and repeat
TT's on the
computrainer. My body was not meant to ride that hard indoors. I can safely say I have never sweat that much in my life. I was popping
Endurolytes like they were jelly beans! Not much else for the weekend other than spinning around in place like a fool. Loads of sleep too... Looking ahead,
NOVA's only a couple weeks away! Looks like they are no longer taking your overall
GC for the Cross Country series points. I haven't decided if I like it that way or not. We'll see how things play out when the time comes.

Swim like you're on fire, live like your last day, drink like its water, there's no tomorrow

That B&W picture speaks volumes. Literally...and figuratively.
Contador makes me feel like an underachiever... I think he might still be breast feeding. How old is he anyway?
24 I think. You're not that old Lyle... There's still time for you to get picked up by a pro tour team : )
Aere you racing the stage race at NOVA or just the XC (or XC and ST, or some combo of them all?)
