Lean a little is what we’ll do
The Marathon went down today. Baba could only muster up a third. Dieter's boys went 3 in the top 7, so I guess you can't complain. But in the end, Second is just the first looser, you know? There's always London next week... Well, I'll save you the weather rant for today. No, it's not changed. Sunday was yet another forty two degree slug fest in a down pour. It's just at this point, it doesn't even matter. My senses are so out of whack, and it's been so long since pleasant conditions ever existed, that be in rain or sleet or snow; it's all just become another part of the gig. Training hard can suck sometimes, and training hard when the conditions are poor can suck even more, but always remember- The alternative is unacceptable. The only thing that could be worse than training that hard would be to slack off your way to another mid pack rondevu. "Believe Me, Nothing Comes Easy." And while we're using quotations... Jonathan- (in reference to having someone confuse him and Ivan Basso in a picture)-"you're confused, it's not actually me, it's Ivan Basso." Lauren-"Will you say this to me when I wake up in the morning?" Now, like Playa J said, I've got a race to win.
