So let's get right down to it. North East is cold. Arizona is hot. any questions? Trudged out to the course today for a couple laps of the XC. For the repeat offenders out there, it's not the same as 05'. Well, kind of. What was the TT is now more or less the XC loop. and what was the XC is now the TT. laps are a little over ten miles and smoking fast. Some sections get a little on the rocky side but nothing the right tire pressure can't handle. pre riding was forty minutes a pop so the race itself is going to be a lot shorter than anticipated, as they are only having us go for three laps. It has zero climbing. it feels like you are descending 90% of the time and when you are actually ascending, you have so much speed coming in to it it's the equivalent of walking up an escalator instead of stairs. Kind of blows, but not too bad for the first go of the year.

Ran into some of the Colorado boys after the first lap ( Blake, Nick, Bryan, Shep) Nick went and won this thing last year so he was a good wheel to follow around and casually observe. Blake is coming off a good week down in PR and should defiantly be making it hurt in the semi's. Hard to say how anyone is riding right now, with it being the first showdown of the year. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
