back to it

So my "package" finaly arived from my dad today. Looks like he got me a new Lap Top to replace the one that passed away a few months ago. it is so BA. Its screen is twice as clear as my old sony, and four times as large. I had been using someones Apple before this, and i can't tell you how nice it is to get back to the good stuff. I now have a place to upload all these pictures ive been taking latley. that memory card was filling up quick. The training here has been going pretty well these past few days. its seems like each day has been eather mega long with huge mountain passes at threshold, or spinning around the local trails at resting heart rate. it's not really logical to do a steady ride around here. if you go more than 10 miles from your home base your garenteed to have atlest a 7 mile climb at some point. ( and at altitude, with these grades, a 7 mile climb is not all that fun at a stedy pace.) The next few days are all about resting up for the races at Deer Valley this weekend/ USA national's the folowing weekend in Sonoma. The CG Rockstars started work yesterday. this blog is going to take a hit in visitation while there out there in the no wifi boonies. I majorly screwd up my time zones and misses timed an important phone call out that way. hopfully their days off will bring some cell reseption and a brief but needed catching up. untill then, to the post office! catching up on a few images from that past week... for two months, id say i packed pretty light. ( altho both those bike boxes were up in the 75lb range. ) the mountain biking out here has been prime. it dosent take long to learn the trails when you ride with Sager for a day.The road riding has also been good. switchbacks as far as the eye can see! If I make it home without going through more than 3 ses of brake pads, it would be an accomplishment. The week has brought the ocational high altitude thunder hail storm. personly, i think it's one of the best times to ride out here. the tempeture drops to barable and the sun dosn't blind.Texans, on the other hand, wont even leave the house if theres rain in the forcast. Wink made it about 10 steps out the door, when a cloud rolled over. he then folled back up in his condo and busted out the Xbox.Another Texan, "waiting out the storm"... i told blake to just go up the stairs like a normal person.Sager gets in more than his fair share of riding out here. ( literaly, more than he should ) He still finds time to slauter the masses on the X box when im not riding, cooking, or watching the tour, ive been napping with my new friend. If your wondering why my helmet has that dent across the front...Movie time. catch ya later aligator.
