When I wake up, I'm willing to take my chances

So much suffering for one day.started things off right with a long run in the A.M. down to and around the pond. I met up with the Milton boys XC squad for the pond loop and some of the way home. I hate running with groups of guys, so I bailed. As Blake would say, they were flexing on me the whole time. Now when it comes to long rides, there's only so many times I can stand to ride the same routes time after time after time. So, as is customary, I went for a good old fashion lost and found ride. ride until you get lost, and find your way home. (hopfully) Today was three hours of trying to get lost. It didn't take long; 30 minutes in I was already in who knows where. Rules for the day were left at red lights and stop sings and strait at green. Also helpful; always follow the sign to the towns you've never heard of.I came across a lot of cool new sights while trying to discombobulate myself. one of witch was the castle like wooden playground in the middle of the ghetto. Pictured above is barely a quarter of the entire structure. I took a 5 minute pit stop and got my smile on with the pre-schoolers before rolling on out.another highling was the discovery of The Bicycle Link. Brumble rode for these guys for years and there jerseys are all over the road race scene, but the actual physical whereabouts of the shop was always a mystery to me. I stopped in to fill some bottles and the guys seemed pretty cool. It's a lot closer than I would have thought too.last stop of the day was at the Greek festival I found going down towards the end of the day. I was able to find some worthy snackage for under $3.00 to keep my stomach settled for the last hour. After three hours of every which way it was time to go figure out where I was and how to manage a trip back in the day light. The journey brought me out south east right at the bridge to the cape.once the 7-11 guy gave me some insight, it was a pretty straight shot home. This might be the lamest update ever. I've got to remember to be mauled by an animal next time. Something more interesting than playgrounds and Greek festivals... Cross bike is almost complete. thats hen the ral fun will start.
